Program Window
The Program Window is divided into 6 areas:
At the very top is the Menu-Bar, with command-headings for 'File', 'Swatches', 'Scratch-Pad', and 'Help'.
Beneath that, and occupying the largest part of the screen, is the 'CPT File Window', where CPT files are displayed. You can keep a number of different CPT files open at the same time. Each has it's own tab, who's color indicates it's Locked or Altered state.
To the upper-right of the program window is another region of tabbed-pages. This contains:
a/ the 'CPT Viewer', where you can view the text-contents of the CPT file that is currently displayed in the 'CPT File Window'.
b/ the 'Scratch-Pad', where you can hold up to 64 different enduring colors for use in other areas of the program.
c/ the 'Image Viewer', where you can load an image, zoom in to pixel-level, and grab colors for use in your CPT files.
d/ the 'Map Viewer', where you can create a world map from the CPT file that is currently displayed in the 'CPT File Window'.
To the lower-left of the program window is another region of tabbed-pages. This contains the various Tool Pages:
a/ 'Config', where you can configure the main parameters of the CPT file.
b/ 'Rows 1', where there are commands for Inserting or Deleting rows in the CPT file.

f/ 'Values 3', where there are commands for Altering, Equalizing, Checking, and Rounding the row-values.
g/ 'Colors 1', where you can create Color Gradients, and Flip, Match, or Adjust existing colors.
h/ 'Colors 2', where you can create Color Gradients, and Flip, Match, or Adjust existing colors.
i/ 'Visualize', where you can create an exportable visual record of the CPT file for archival purposes.
j/ 'Named Colors', which contains a list of all Windows Named Colors that you can use in other program areas.
k/ 'Swatches', where you can load and save swatches of 64 useful colors for creating CPT files.
l/ 'Image Palette', which stores the extracted colors from an open image, if it contains palette entries.
To the lower-right of the program is the 'Color Designer'. Here you can create your own colors in a variety of different ways, modify existing colors by adjusting attributes for RGB, HSV, or CMYK color-models. You can use the Color-Picker to grab and store colors from anywhere on your Desktop, which can then be used throughout the program. You can also examine any color to determine it's Hex coding, or the attribute values for RGB, HSV, or CMYK color-models.
At the very bottom of the program window is the Status Bar, which is divided into three sections:
a/ Information on the current state and color for Color Pasting throughout the program.
b/ A Progress-Bar to monitor the progress of certain slow procedures, such as Map Creation.
c/ A general information area where colored messages are posted to inform you of the results of program actions.
