Visualize

The 'Visualize' page in the Tools tab-pages lets you visualize the current state of the current CPT file, even if it has not been saved. It takes all the 'From' colors, and the final 'To' color, and creates a gradient that is either Continuous, or Stepped, or a combination of both. It then creates an image with the gradient in an outlined rectangle that can be saved for archival or other purposes, in a variety of image-formats. You can choose from 3 different sizes: 200 x 50, 400 x 100, or 800 x 200 pixels. The size refers to the colored gradient rectangle, not the image as a whole.

You can also, optionally, add other details to the image from the CPT file: Filename, Ticks, Range Values, Row Count, and Comments, by selecting the relevant check-box.

Click the 'Font' button to change the Font family, style, and font-size that is used for the text.

You can change the image Background color, and the text-color, by Color Pasting a color from elsewhere in program to the 'Back Color' box or the 'Text Color' box. These colors are remembered when the program closes.

When you have set the parameters as needed, click the 'Go' button, and the image will appear in a popup window. This window has a 'Save the Image' button, enabling you to save the image in a variety of image-formats: Jpg, Gif, Png, Bitmap, or Tif.
