Route Tab-Page

The 'Route' Tab-Page provides a facility to draw a route-line on the Map, that goes from Point A to Point B. The route will display for any selected Projection set in the 'Setup' tab-page'.

To turn the route-line on or off, use the 'Plot Route Between A and B' control.

The location of Point A and Point B are set using the controls on the 'Route' Tab-Page. Initial values are set to London, England, and Wellington, New Zealand. Allowable values for Latitude and Longitude are entered with the Numeric Up/Down controls, and the wanted hemisphere is set with the drop-down controls, for each point.

You can also enter the location of Point A or Point B by right-clicking the map, and choosing 'Set Route Position A to this Position' or 'Set Route Position B to this Position' from the list of commands that are shown.

The width of the route-line when it is drawn on the map is set with the 'Route Width' control. Available values are: 1 to 4.

The route-line is drawn using the current color in the 'Route Color' box. You can set different route colors for each of the 23 maps.
