Set Map Colors/Fonts
The map has 23 different background images. Some backgrounds are light, some are dark, so a foreground overlay that looks good on one background might be hard to read on another. Therefore, for maximum flexibility, you can assign different colors, fonts, and font-sizes to each program color, as it is used on each of the background images.
The different colors are found on different Tap-Pages in the Tab control. Each has a clickable colored box. Some boxes, such as the Grid Locator Text box, let you set both color and font at the same time.
To change a color, or the font definition, just click the associated colored box. A small 'Color Picker' window will open. Choose a Basic color from the ones presented, or click 'Define Custom Colors' to specify a color using a range of controls. After closing the color selector window, a 'Font Selector' window will open, if appropriate.
The new color or font value will be applied to the Map straight away, and will be saved for when you next use the program, or select the same background map.
To reset all Map Colors and Fonts to their default values, click 'Help > Program Options > Reset All Colors and Fonts'.
