Bands
When the QSOs in a log are plotted on the Online and Overlay Maps, the received callsign in each QSO is not plotted with a Callsign marker, but with a Band marker, that indicates which band the QSO occurred on. Six different band markers are available, for bands 1-6. The type of marker-image that is assigned to any of the band-markers is set on the 'Options > Bands' page. By default we use the Small markers, but you can change this to use any of the 37 different marker-types available. Note that the band markers on the 'Options > Bands' page do not refer to a specific band: rather, they are allocated and numbered dependant on which bands actually appear in a log. The list of bands that appear in a log are ordered, low to high by frequency, and then band marker 1 is applied to the first band, band marker 2 is applied to the next band, and so on. The list of the actual bands found in the Main Log can be seen as menu-subitems below 'Main Log > Plot Calls by Band'. The list of the actual bands found in the Auxiliary Log can be seen as menu-subitems below 'Auxiliary Log > Plot Calls by Band'. The list of the actual bands found in a log plotted using 'Plot > Cabrillo Log' is not shown, though the same ordered Band Markers are used.
