Settings Menu
The 'Settings Menu' is the main point of control for the 'Time Mapper UHD'. It controls the user-settings for everything except the selection of individual Map Layers, and the Base Map.
There are two ways to show the 'Settings Menu':
1/ Click the small 'hamburger' button in the top-right of the map, which will show the pop-up 'Controls-Panel', then click the 'Settings' button in the 'Controls-Panel'.
2/ Type the two characters 'SM' on your keyboard.
The Settings Menu will appear as a floating window. It has a number of tab-pages that are used for program configuration: 'User', 'User Style', 'Date Time', 'Data Bar', 'Map Features', 'Ham Radio', 'Ham Logs', 'Satellites', 'Markers', 'Logger Feed', 'PSK Reporter', 'Calendar', 'Country Rank', 'Help'. A description of each can be seen on its own Help Page.
The 'Settings Menu' has its own 'Status Bar' along the bottom of the 'Settings Menu' window. This shows useful messages relating to the program operation.
The 'Settings Menu' does not have a 'Save' button. All changes that you make in any of the tab-pages will be saved automatically when you close the 'Settings Menu' window, by clicking the 'X' in the top-right corner.
When the 'Settings Menu' is opened, the map will freeze. When the 'Settings Menu' is closed, the map will rebuild using the new settings from the 'Settings Menu'.
