Plot Tab-Page
The 'Plot' Tab-Page provides plotting facilities for Lines, Points, and Magnetic Variation, as well as saving the colors for the different plotted items.
Click any of the Color boxes to change the color, or the Spacing boxes to change the spacing. Color-values apply to the currently-chosen background map, and are remembered.
The 'Plot Lines' panel is used to add lines to the map: these can be Latitude and Longitude Circles, Radial Lines from the center, or 4-character Grid Locator divisions, with labels that identify the grid-locator center-points.
The 'Plot Points' panel is used to add points to the map: these can be Amateur Radio Prefixes, Capital Cities, Amateur Radio Country Names, or NCDXF beacons.
The number of entities that are shown will depend on the size of the map, and its current center-point. A routine is used to make sure that there are no overlapping map-labels, and that labels are not clipped if they go over the edge of the map.
Hovering the mouse over a label will show additional information in an adjacent box. The information shown depends on which label is visible:
Prefix: Country name, Continent, CQ and ITU Zones.
Capital Cities: Country name, current local date and time.
Country Names: Standard entity-prefix, Continent, CQ and ITU Zones.
Beacons: City and Country. Visit the 'Beacons' help page for more information about the Beacons.
