Check for Other Updates

This programme is about more than just the Spectra dataset: its two internal databases hold 9 other external tables that are used to geocode the Spectra tables or to provide useful spatial data that can be referenced from the callbook listings or other tables of data. Indeed, the table interaction is fully versatile: nearly everything can be compared with everything else.

The programme is supplied with recent versions of its tables, but of course data changes and tables go out of date. You can be check on line to see if each of the tables is up-to-date with the latest version on your computer: if not, the newer table-version is downloaded and installed automatically. The programme-version is also checked, though if a new version is available, this must be installed manually, due to security-concerns.
