Plot All Grid Squares
Click 'Grid Squares > Plot All Grid Squares' to plot all the unique grid squares in the Main Log. This is an excellent visual record of all your worked grid-squares. Although you can hover over a grid-square to see its name on both maps, the Overlay Map makes square identification even easier: just click the 'Grid' button on the row of buttons over the map to show the 'Grid Squares' overlay, which identifies every 4-character grid-square.
You can change the colours used for the Grid Square bounding box outline and fill by clicking 'Help > Options > Colours > GridLoc Box ...'. Note that the fill-colour is only plotted at 30% opacity, to allow map items under the box to be seen. This means that even though the same colour is chosen for the outline and the fill, the fill-colour will always look lighter.
Grid Locators have their own 'layer' above the Online and Overlay maps, which can be controlled independently of the others. Use the menu-subitems below 'Markers' to temporarily hide or permanently clear the Grid Locator markers and polygons.
You can right-click any plotted grid-square to perform a Spatial Query on it. The query will return all values of the selected table that lie within the boundaries of the grid-square.
Note that the Grid Squares table and plotting facilities are only available during the Trial Period, and if the programme is subsequently registered with an 'Advanced' licence. You can always upgrade a 'Standard' licence if you wish to enable Main and Auxiliary Log storage and plotting.
