Description
The 'Time Mapper UHD' recognizes two types of countries: 'Standard Countries', as defined in the United Nations list of sovereign states and dependent territories, and 'Amateur Radio Countries', as defined by the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) for their 'DXCC' operating awards, and subsequently adopted as ADIF Entities. There are five parts to the criteria that decides what constitutes an 'Amateur Radio Country': Political Entities, Geographical Entities, Special Areas, Ineligible Areas, Deletion Criteria. As far as the 'Country Borders' map layer is concerned, in the 'Amateur Radio Countries' overlay, extra borders are added for Wales - England, Scotland - England, and European Russia - Asiatic Russia.
There are 2 overlays available: Standard Countries, Amateur Radio Countries, selectable through the 'Additional Layer Features' control on the 'Layers Menu'.
This Map Layer is a Vector Layer composed of Lines, so the Style for these can be changed as desired by opening the 'Layers Menu', clicking the wanted layer on the left, then clicking the relevant panel controls on the right.
