Vector Map
In the 'Vector Map' options-page, you can set all of the colors that are used to draw the Vector Map, and so adapt it to your own requirements. To change a color, simply click on its colored square. A 'Color Picker' window will open. You can choose any of the basic colors shown on the left, or create your own color on the right by dragging the Hue cross around the colored window, moving the Luminosity Slider up or down, or typing in HSL or RGB values in the range 0-255.
The 'Continental Extent' box lets you choose the extent of the continental map when it is first drawn on the screen: either CONUS, meaning 'CONtinental USa' without Alaska and Hawaii, or CONSUS plus AK and HI. Of course either setting still allows you to zoom in or out when you wish to: its just that these initial choices make map-plotting quicker.
