GPX Tracks from File
This feature enables you to import all Track points from a GPX file, and plot them on the Vector Map and the Online Map. The points will then be interconnected with lines, in the order that they were recorded. Note that a GPX file can contain both waypoints and tracks. This command will only make use of the track points that it finds in the file. The total number of track points found will be reported on the Status Line at the bottom of the map. If more track points are reported than are showing on the map, it could be that their positions are beyond the bounds of the current map-view. The Online map can be zoomed and panned to see track points anywhere in the world.
Each Track point is indicated in the maps with a small marker. You can choose which marker is used, from the full set of 37, by clicking 'Help > Options' on the upper MenuBar, and then when the Option window opens, select the 'Markers' tab and choose a new value in the 'Choose Track point Marker-Type' control. You can also choose the color of the lines that interconnect the Track points by clicking 'Help > Options' on the upper MenuBar, and then when the Option window opens, select the 'Vector Map' tab and choose a new value for 'Track Lines' by clicking on it's colored box.
