Tribal Earth Summer Camp
One of the delights of Pestalozzi is the diversity of events that happen here. With plenty of space and facilities, there is no problem accomodating groups and occasional outdoor events, so most most weekends throughout the summer will see a range of events taking place. This weekend, it was the turn of the Tribal Earth Summer Camp, an event now in its 8th year. Primarily offering a full programme of drumming and dance, they also have a range of courses and activities to suit all tastes, and provide a great environment to connect, have fun, network, and relax with new and old friends.
As well as ensuring a great time for all present, the Tribal Earth Summer Camp also raises money to support The Pegasus Project, a charity that provides food, education and clothing for street children in Nepal. This is a valuable and much needed initiative for the children of Nepal who have lost homes and family and now have to support themselves in whatever way they can. Some are as young as 9. Please visit their website to find out more, and make a donation if you can. All resources are welcome, and even the smallest gift will make a huge difference to the lives of these children.
