Export Auxiliary Log to CSV File

This command will save the current state of the 'Auxiliary Log' tab as a CSV (Comma-Separated Values) file, that you can then use in other external applications. The contents of the 'Auxiliary Log' tab will be saved exactly as they are currently shown, so if you wish to change the order of rows, you can click any of the column-headers to sort by the values of that column. Once this has been done, click 'Export > Export Auxiliary Log to CSV File' on the upper Menu-Bar. After a short processing period, a window will appear that lets you navigate to the destination-folder for the CSV file. Enter a suitable filename in the 'Filename' box, and choose a suitable file-suffix with the 'Save as type' control. If in doubt, leave at the default '.csv' setting. After saving, you are given the option to open the saved CSV file. This will use whatever program you have set as the default handler for that file-type. Note that although it is called a 'comma' separated file, I have chosen to use the Pipe-character (|) as the separating character, as this is less likely to clash with any other data values.

If you do not have a program that can open CSV files, or if you are not happy with the one you have, I would recommend that you try 'CSVed', which you can download from https://csved.sjfrancke.nl/index.html (Link will open in your Browser). Although a free program, I hope that if you like it, as I am sure you will, you send Sam Francke a small donation. Usage Tip: load your file in  'CSVed', and of it doesn't look right, change the 'Set Separator' in the 'Start and Item Edit' toolbar-tab, then click 'Ctrl-R' to Reload the file.
